The Ice People 15 - The East Wind

When Karl XII decided to invade Russia, he had no idea how much sorrow and despair his decision would cause. Vendel Grip was one of many miserable souls who landed in a prison camp deep in Siberia. 

Following his eventual escape in an old boat, mighty rivers carry Vendel northward to the tundra by the coast of the Kara Sea and, amazingly, to a distant branch of the descendants of the Ice People.
