After a catastrophic assignment, disgraced journalist Carson Davis is bitter about his current assignment: cover all the winter celebrations in a small town that he's never even heard of. Widowed Dave Sweet is a single dad of an excitable seven year old girl, and owns the local bakery in Everwinter Valley. With Christmas being his favourite holiday, he has no shortage of Christmas cheer.

After a lost Carson finds his way into the bakery in search of directions, neither of them are quite prepared for what Christmas magic they'll find together.
