The Heart's Eye

Grief is a journey almost everyone without exception must take in life. If not grief for the loss of a loved one by way of death, then at the very least, a loss of a dearly beloved relationship. It's a journey without road map, directions or itinerary. There is no time line that tells when the journey is done. Each must find their own way, the rest stops along the road, as well as the length of the journey. This book of poetry is the road map of one woman's journey of grief after the loss of a beloved husband. It tells of the feelings and sense of loss experienced on her way to finding a new life, a new voice and a new sense of rejoining the world of the living, in joy, remembrance and peace. I reach beyond the pale, beyond the prison of the past to find the doorway to the now.
