The happy, birthday paintings

Mina longs for colour! She dreams of magenta pinks and cobalt blues. Of sparkling purples and dazzling reds. Of soothing greens and shocking yellows. So, she creates colours using the flowers and leaves that she finds around her. She gifts her art to children on their birthdays by drawing on the walls of their houses. Her happy, birthday paintings soon start appearing on every wall of the village. A fictionalised story based on India's Madhubani art.
