The Grandmother Anointing

Grandmother. Her essence is that of wisdom, compassion and unconditional love. She is a nurturer from the heart. God made her that way. She looks for nothing in return except knowing in her heart she has blessed someone with her kindness, insight and patience. Her desire is to epitomize what it looks like to release the Fruit of the Holy Spirit. Pleasing God is her aspiration.

This is the story of certain women, biblical and personal, who acknowledged the responsibility and pleasure of their position. It's not a position that usually brings much notice, but to do it well delivers far-reaching results. For years she has been the lifeblood of many families. And it doesn't matter if you are a blood relative or not, she claims you as her own. To all of this add the anointing, the super on our natural, and you have a force that can affect future generations.
Nancy Davis is known for her love, compassion and encouragement of everyone she meets. She has served in various ministerial capacities for over 25 years. She has three children, five grandchildren (three who are adults and two who are pre-teens) and one great-grandchild. Of all that could be listed of her life's achievements, her greatest appreciation is for every opportunity God has given her to speak life and wisdom into the lives of many. However, she considers being a grandmother and a great-grandmother the utmost of God's blessings.
