The gendered organizational culture in a Social Welfare Office

How does it come that the social services is a organization dominated by women-but the top leadership belongs to the men? This book explores the realty many female and male managers experience in a social services office in the gender progressive country of Sweden. The conclusion is that even though the managers have an understanding of the importance of gender equality, the reality they operate and create tells a completely different and gender biased story.
