The future of Egypt''s revolution

The seriousness of the situation in Egypt and regionally stems from the dual nature of the crisis. It is a crisis of governance systems based on a development model from which a small minority specializes in benefiting from its fruits. It is also a crisis of the masses, victims of the regime, whose awareness has not reached the level required to impose radical reforms. Therefore, development leads to chaos with unknown results. Imperialism''s strategy bets on the continuation of this chaos with the support of political Islam to penetrate the popular movement, which leads to the conflict moving from the ground of real demands to the realm of the unseen... which in turn is an excuse for the descent into terrorism. The writer then looks at the shortcomings of the countries of the region''s view regarding prevailing globalization, the roots of the continuation of the authoritarian Mamluk state, and the return of fascism in the theater of contemporary capitalism in crisis.
