The Friedmont Hotel Murders is the seventh novel in The LT Maggie Watson Murder Mystery series and is the fourteenth novel overall for MW Burdette. In this book, Jonathan and Maggie are hired by the district attorney in Birmingham to help them find the person who is terrorizing the north side of downtown.The Friedmont Hotel is in the notorious section of the city where once grand hotels have deteriorated, and the clientele, which were upper class visitors are now homeless street people, professional hookers, and drug addicts.
