The European Union

The book aims to provide an introduction to the EU, to contribute to an understanding and appreciation of its key provisions, and to stimulate further interest and research on it and to demystify its recommendations. Throughout the book, the abbreviation EU is used for space reasons but it is important to recall that the initials refer to the draft treaty establishing the European Union adopted by the European Parliament in 1984.
