The Esoteric Napoleon 2

In 1802, Napoleon ordered his navy secretary to deploy under strict secrecy a special field team to explore the vast landscape in the middle of North America. No details as to what this team was supposed to look for, nor what it might have found, have ever emerged. Less than a year later, Napoleon sold the territory to the United States in what is probably the best bargain in history. The subsequent Lewis & Clark Expedition revealed curious sights, ancient ruins, mingled with the native's stories of mysterious cultures.
