The Ebony Enigma

A simplistic life form on the plant Diatom have their existence shattered when their planet explodes and casts them into the universe. Their evolutionary adaptations stand them in good stead and after millennia in outer space they land on earth. John Marsden, an eye surgeon's son and Henry Williams, a farmer's son find them in 1938 with a catastrophic effect that takes a few years to materialise. The story follows these two young men and how this simplistic life form effected them and their subsequent families and potentially the world. Can Richard, John Marsden's son unravel the enigma of the ebony rocks?
