The Divine Comedy. Hell

"The Divine Comedy. Hell" - is the first part of the masterpiece by the great Italian poet of the Renaissance period Dante Alighieri. Having lost in the gloomy forest Dante meets the poet Virgil and starts his travel along the world of dead. It starts with the nine circles of hell, where the poets meet all the possible sinners - liars, murderers, violators, thieves and self-murderers, heretics, penny pinchers, gluttons and others - among of whom they recognize a lot of historical heroes. All of them suffer from different tortures depending on their sins, but the most terrible ones - are on the last, the nine circle, where the traitors have found their place.
