The detective novel... literary creativity and crime

This book does not talk about crime stories, nor about crime in literature, but about the flowering of the detective novel, which flourished and was born in an unprecedented popular way throughout the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. This novel was born with the flowering of the newly born novelist art, compared to all the arts of writing. For two centuries, readers all over the world followed the desired detective stories in newspapers, in popular book series, and in movie theaters after these stories were turned into films. The success of these series was nothing but an impetus for the emergence of this huge amount of publications, and the speed of their translation into all languages. Languages. And also the appearance of many names of authors, whom we know and can be counted on the fingers compared to the many names that no one knows. Which prompted famous writers to follow the path of these novels.
