The Death of Jean: An excerpt from What Is Man? and Other Essays

The Death of Jean was originally published by Mark Twain (albeit anonymously initially) in 1906 as part of the collection of essays known as 'What Is Man'. The Death of Jean forms the second essay out of a total of fifteen within the original publication. It deals with the death of Jean Clemens whom was the youngest daughter of Mark Twain.
