Adrienne (Renn) Chao is your typical overachiever, focused on her ACTs and finding the last geocache in Black Hawk Bend. When her hunt runs up against a fence, Renn trespasses on the grounds of tech billionaire Jason Silver's Midwest lab.

Jack Henderson has a knack for gadgets. He is content to tag along with Renn until they discover a puzzle in the cache. When Jack is sidelined from football, he is driven to pursue its mysteries. But some mysteries were not meant to be uncovered.
