The Briar, the Bramble, and the Rose

Tiny mice, hares, and other woodland beings revisit Shirl's imagination in this latest collection of fairy tales. Pictured on the back cover is one of two starling paintings that served as inspiration for the first fairy tale in this collection, "A Sprinkling of Stars." Adorning the front cover is the fairy that appears in her story "The Rose."
