THE BOOK OF MATTHEW chronicles one man's quest for meaning in his life. In the aftermath of 9/11 New York, Matt Kennedy tries to make sense of his existence by following a former mentor into the charismatic fellowship of a fundamentalist church. Despite warnings, he finds himself attracted to their faith and dynamic services. He grapples with the church's beliefs but continues to become more involved with its members.
