The Baker's Daughter

When young Matthew decides to leave the U.S. for France to teach English, he has several things in mind: the food, the adventure, the history. But what he isn't counting on is Wissenheim. Completely 'd pays ' in this little Alsatian border town, Matthew must find his way through the French language - and French middle school - all while trying to straighten out his affairs of the heart. How will he deal with the ill-defined significant other he left behind back home, and how will his destiny be altered by the charming but elusive Sophie - the baker's daughter?
