The Adoration of God: My Journey of Healing

This special collection of writings is extracted from the 2006 autobiography of Dora Muhammad, "Sajdah: A Young Woman's Atonement." It chronicles the journey of her healing from sexual abuse from age 3; tumbling down a spiral toward attempted suicide at age 15; reopening wounds after being raped, strangled to unconsciousness and left for dead in a park at age 18; to emerge along a road of fragile self-discovery and a life of firm faith and love.
