The study sought to address the very short story of the writer Aziza Al-Ta''i, based on the concept of textual transcendences (Transtextuality), which was theorized by the French critic Gerard Genet, in his journey of developing the concept of poetics. Textual transcendences are a genetic term that investigates the relational dimensions between texts, those dimensions. Which creates the poetics of the text, and reveals its interactions. If Julia Kristeva theorized the concept of intertextuality, then textual transcendences according to Genet went further than that. For him, intertextuality is one of five relationships that come together. To make the text transcend itself, and interconnected with other texts and references.
