One of the most challenging cases for Hercule Poirot.

Three young women share a flat in London. The first is a cold and efficient secretary; the second, a talented artist; and the third seeks out Poirot, interrupting his breakfast of brioche and hot chocolate, to confess that she is the murderer of her two roommates. Then, she mysteriously disappears.

Amid rumors of firearms, switchblades, and traces of blood, Poirot must fully employ his little grey cells to determine--without any evidence--whether the third woman is truly guilty.
