Jean Delphin-Alard was one of the foremost leaders in violin for the Paris Conservatory, after succeeding Baillot in 1843. His etudes, School of playing are still used today as standard methods of teaching. Here we have the Op. 19 Artistic Etudes, taken from the original plates from the 1910 edition published by Schott Publishing. 8.5"x11", Glossy Cover.
