Teddy, no longer the underdog and other animal rescue poems

Teddy was just a small, scruffy, scrap of a pup that was considered as 'vermin' in the country where he lived as a Street Dog. All alone he somehow survived after losing both his Mother and siblings to either the cruel dog catchers or the Serbian locals. He was one of many thousands of strays who needed rescuing but there was something special about this particular small, frightened pup with the sad eyes that reached into my very soul so I made the decision that for this pup there would be a happy ending. Teddy's journey had just begun.... Here between the pages of this book you will read poems of the many rescue animals from the mighty Raju the elephant to the 'Angel Pup'. Sad, happy and inspirational and everyone true. These are their 'stories' of survival against all odds and is dedicated to the rescue angels who came to their aid.
