Tears of the Sun

Book Four of the Journeys of the Stranger series finds the legendary John Stranger summoned to Apache Junction, Arizona, where a hard-fought land dispute between the local Apache and Zuni Indians has led to the wedding-day kidnapping of the son of Arizona's governor. As terms for his return, the warriors demand weapons that can only escalate the fighting between the tribes, as well as the white men who come to the area looking for gold or-as it's known to the Indians-"Tears of the Sun."
