Teaching Chemistry

This work was based on the activities developed during Internship I and Internship II of the Chemistry degree course at the State University of Southwest Bahia, Itapetinga campus. It is divided into two parts: Part I: entitled "Teaching Chemistry: contributions to the formation of the Citizen", presents the results of a survey carried out with high school chemistry teachers in private institutions in the municipality. Part II: entitled "Chemistry teacher performance and teaching skills", presents the results of direct observation carried out in chemistry classes in the 1st, 2nd and 3rd year of secondary school at a public institution in the municipality.
