Talibanization versus Pak Army

Taliban were spreading in Pakistan during the last decade, however, Swat was an important place selected by the Taliban to carry on their terroristic activities. Not only the local people were affected but also the journalists and people working in all aspects of life faced the problem in the nearby cities. The Army started a military operation against the Taliban when they challenge the writ of the State. The press role was important to show the real picture to the people and to be objective to report the War on Terror however, the case was different. Media around the world generally support peace and played a responsible role to show the solution of the issues adopted multi-featured approaches. While in Pakistani press play the role of war journalism more than peace journalism and adopted the approach of focusing on the war than the peace.
