Using his Vision Sight, Hauk helplessly watches as an earthquake devastates King Wheeler's dimension only hours following the birth of the new Prince. Debris from the buildings bury the Royal Family. Gregor refuses to believe in the demise of the entire Royal Family and vows to locate them along with The White Wand. He plans to bring them all home to Kalindia or die alone in Wheeler's dimension.
