Taking a Shower

Lake Nofer was born in Columbus, Ohio,but moved to the LA area as a baby and grewup in the San Fernando Valley. She attendedCalifornia State University, Northridge,studying music, then switching to theater andgetting her degree in Theater. She was a tourguide at Universal Studios and then went towork in the box offi ce of the, now defunct, LosAngeles Theater Center. While still at the tour she was diagnosed withMultiple Sclerosis. Finally, after working at the theater for less than a yearshe had to quit, due to the fatigue of MS. Today she lives in an apartment that was built for disabled people whocan live independently. Once a week she volunteers at Learning Allies,reading for textbooks on tape. She enjoys cooking, reading, writing andhaving adventures.
