Systems Identification and Diagnosis using Kernel Methods

This book deals with the problem of identifying and diagnosing complex systems using kernel methods. In order to overcome this problem, a reduction in the number of model parameters is necessary, as well as an update of these parameters. Similarly, in order to avoid the slightest failure and improve process quality and efficiency, a system diagnostics step is required, which consists in detecting deviations from the normal state of operation.
