Following on the -Synoptic Concordance for Franz Kafka's Novels- (Indices zur deutschen Literatur 26-28), which has already appeared, these volumes lemmatize the entire language material found in this author's -Posthumous Writings and Fragments-. The concordance is based on the corresponding volumes of the critical edition of Kafka's works published by S. Fischer. The synoptic concordance points up new connections, implicit cross-references, linguistic fields, and also changes in the use of language. As such, it is an indispensable tool for the literary and linguistic analysis of the writings in question."
