Sweet Honey 'Er Sour Vinegar

The articles in this book were published every week in 35-plus newspapers and read by 500,000-plus individuals over a 20-year period. I was on a wild roller coaster ride of life. I served as the head official for several major college athletic conferences, all the while a college professor teaching undergraduate and graduate students and being a father to four great award-winning children. I was also an elected city/county official, the owner of successful sports camps, and a salesman of athletic products. Oh yes, I was giving motivational speeches across the country as well. Days off did not exist, but writing helped me catch up and express what I was feeling about my lifelong interest in the promotion of physical fitness and athletics, and motivating that interest in others. In all, life was both sweet honey or sour vinegar.
