Super High Definition Images: Beyond HDTV

This work is designed for researchers and engineers in video-processing system, terminal and application design, and those in the visual media service industry. Dealing with SHD images the work provides a comprehensive analysis of media integration, multimedia communications and supporting technologies. It explains how and why all digital SHD images will become the key to media integration, discusses necessary technologies for achieving SHD image processing and presents image applications beyond HDTV towards multi- and hypermedia.
