Sunsets for the Hopeful and the Hopeless

In the first installment in The Moonboy series, The Moonboy and His Solstice, the reader gets a close look at the push and pull of dynamics between the characters Liam Russell and Elijah Hill. It is implied by Liam, the narrator and protagonist, that him and Aaron had a very special relationship. The first book never highlights the events of this relationship, but Sunsets for the Hopeful and the Hopeless says everything. It shows a not-so-average high school relationship and the affect it can have on a teenager.
