Sunset Hugs

Bubby hasn't had a nice life so far. The owner of the puppy mill where he lives is mean and hurtful. His only friend is a red cardinal, Lummy, who provides comfort. But Bubby's life starts to change. While he still has bad memories and worries, Bubby goes on a healing journey, developing healthy coping skills as he overcomes his past.

Sunset Hugs is meant as a hopeful resource for children (and maybe even adults) who have experienced adversity. Every chapter contains teachable moments and questions that can be read again for further reflection and journaling.
