Sundog Snow Adventure

Two boys discover an unexpected adventure that brings a lot of worry to their young hearts when their neighbor, a crotchety old man, warns them of the sundogs. Not understanding the meaning, Ward and Lee Johnson can't hurry home fast enough.Their mother assures them that they had nothing to fear, and shows them the sundogs through an unusual avenue - their living room window. When the boys learn the truth, elder brother, Ward, realizes how old Mr. Crumble had fooled them. Ward wants to get back at him, but his mother dissuades him by telling Ward she'll bake Mr. Crumble a pie. Ward's shocked until he realizes the wisdom of his mother's words.The boys focus their hearts to the joy of the spring, looking forward to the pleasures awaiting in the days ahead. Here, The Sundog Snow Adventure loses its hold as the sundogs disappear high up in the sky!
