The manuscript takes "e;Twelve Periods"e; and "e;Seventy Biographies"e; in History of the Han Dynasty as the main research objects and combines relevant content of "e;Eight Memorials"e; and "e;Ten Annals"e; to make a comprehensive and systematic discussion on the description and achievement characteristics of the biographies in History of the Han Dynasty, so as to be beneficial to the extended and in-depth research on History of the Han Dynasty. This book consists of the Introduction and seven chapters. It mainly starts with the investigation of the historical thoughts and concept of historical figures implied in History of the Han Dynasty, thus specifically discussing the emperors, princes, civil and military generals, scholars and scholars described in the biographies of History of the Han Dynasty, as well as historical figures, such as Confucians, officials, chivalrous men, businessmen, sycophantic officials and relatives of the emperor on the side of his mother or wife, discussed in classified biographies. Finally, it summarizes the achievements and influence of the biographies of History of the Han Dynasty in the field of literature and history.
