Studies on environmental pollution of some soils in Egypt

Pollution with heavy metals due to anthropogenic activities became a serious risk which affects ecosystem adversely, this work illustrated some sources of pollution with heavy metals such as vehicle emissions, domestic sewage, industrial and agricultural effluents, excess of pesticides and fertilizers. Furthermore; investigated some insitu remediation approaches (chemo and phyto remediation) to limit the extent of contaminants, decontaminate polluted sites and minimize the deterioration of the environment and human health.
