Stribor's Forest is with no doubt the most popular Croatian fairy tale, and its author, Ivana Brlic-Mazuranic ("Croatian Andersen", "Slavic Tolkien") the most famous Croatian writer for children, if not - and many scholars would agree - the best author that Croatian literature ever had.

This is a story about love and sacrifice for others, loved by children and their parents. And also, a story about why long time ago magic was gone...

Stribor's Forest is now available in Turkish language The story was translated by Ayla Hafız K kusta, translation was redacted by Ekrem Čausevic, the book was edited by Esma Halepovic Đečevic, and published by Croatian-Turkish Association and Bulaja naklada, with the illustrations by Alistair Keddie from the cartoon Stribor's Forest, a part of award-winning multimedia project Croatian Tales of Long Ago by Bulaja naklada.
