These problems together constitute a potential source for the destruction of mankind. They have already brought about the demise of nations and the instability of many political entities while promoting the general insecurity and suppression of the individual. This book is concerned with the above issues, with particular reference to the Nigerian question. Indeed, it has to be observed that developments since the collapse of Soviet communism thirty years ago, have been even more debilitating and in fact appalling. In this revised edition therefore, we reflect on some of these developments as well as seek deeper solutions and avenues for enhanced management and containment of the problems.
