Strands of Flax

Strands of Flax is a work of literary fiction that tells the story of Charlotte, a New Zealand woman who must mne her ancestry to strike out in her "wisdom years". As her own dark secrets begin to accumulate, she relocates to a contemporary city so that she can be free to explore a new, reflective phase. What she does not expect to encounter is an eventual reconciliation with her own past and an equally dark era in her ancestor's history.
