This book presents the general practitioner with clear and concise options for diagnosis and therapy in practical implementations of radiation medicine. In radiology new technical developments have introduced a wide spectrum of novel applications to which many physicians were never exposed during thier training and with which they are therefore unfamiliar. These new techniques are nevertheless essential for a interdiciplinary treatment according to evidence-based criteria. The physician should be able to weigh diagnosis and therapy alternatives with respect to costs and thus prepare and follow his patients throughout their treatment. The design of the book takes up this "recipe-like" structure with margin commentaries containing indications, side effects, etc.
