Heather R Walker has been writing poems and shortstories for many years and has recently had an anthology ofverse published entitled ~Secrets of the Heart ~ The Hidden Messages of Love?This is the first of her stories for children to be publishedunder her family name of Ashmore. Heather R Walker was born in Bickley, Kent and educatedat Bromley High School for Girls (GPDST). On leaving school,she undertook a two year Business Studies course at PitmansCollege, London, from where her first assignment took herto working in the field of publishing. This subsequently ledto her involvement in numerous diverse disciplines over theyears within the world of commerce. Eventually she moved from her native Kent to live inCheshire, where she brought up her four children. Now livingin a very beautiful part of rural Shropshire and having retiredfrom the world of commerce, she is able to pursue her passionfor writing. Continuing to take great pleasure and delight inbeing able to create magical rides for all her readers to enjoy.
