Whilst the greatest effort has been made to ensure the quality of this text, due to the historical nature of this content, in some rare cases there may be minor issues with legibility. A day will just allow for a glimpse of the Cathedral, the Castle, Schifanoia, the Palazzo de' Diamanti, Picture Gallery and Via degli Angeli (renamed Corso Vittorio Emanuele), but a much longer stay is necessary for a true appreciation of the place. It is also a great pity to neglect a chance Of visiting Pomposa. The hotels - the Stella d'oro and the Europa - both Italian, are clean and comfortable, and the cooking excellent.
