When Catell gets out of prison, Schumacher has a job lined up for him-a bar of gold in a lab, ripe for stealing. What neither of them know is that this bar of gold has accidentally been rendered radioactive. So as Catell makes his way around Detroit, he gradually begins to poison everyone he comes in contact with. And now the FBI is on to him, and Schumacher is dead.
