Stastical Mechanics and Many Body Problems

The pre-requisites for a study of this book are an undergraduate course in classical mechanics, thermodynamics, kinetic theory of gases and a graduate level course in quantum mechanics, of course, sufficient knowledge of mathematics is a must for a physicist. It is hoped that the presentation of the subject matter in the present volume will lead to a better and up-to-date understanding of this portion of theoretical physics.
