St. Helena Postal History from Napoleon to the UPU

The stamp exhibit in this volume, Art Groten's St. Helena Postal History From Napoleon to the UPU, is not from the modern age of exhibiting. It was awarded Grand Awards in 1987 and 1988: a generation ago in exhibiting techniques, but an eye blink in the appreciation of classic material. One thing is unchanged: the focus on material. There is fantastic Napoleonic material The philatelic community, in general, including stamp collectors, stamp exhibitors, and students of St. Helena and its postal history, should derive tremendous satisfaction from the fact that this exhibit, from 30 years ago, is now available to a larger audience, allowing the full range of its philatelic treasures to be fully appreciated.
