Simon Speigner is a pioneer of sustainable, energy-efficient building in Austria. His practice sps architekten focuses on creativity and innovative solutions to produce unconventional, customer-orientated buildings that are both aesthetic and sustain­able. The practice has won numerous wood-building awards and state prizes, for instance for the oh456 plus-energy office building and cultural power plant in Thalgau.
