Spread Too Thin?

After decades of downsizing the U.S. military, the newly elected President is faced with the ultimate threat. Iraq and North Korea have suddenly gained possession of land mobile launched ICBM's; Soviet made SS-22's. The President starts to mobilize his forces as best he can. The only solution is an ultimate nuclear terror. The U.S. deploys its own land mobile launched ICBM the MX Missile Defense System. The President enlists the help of the Commonwealth of Independent States to augment the U.S. forces in keeping the Iraqi's and the North Koreans in check. The USS DOOMSDAY, SSBN-2001, is the final say in World War Three.
