Although God is working tirelessly to bring each believer into maturity (Philippians 1:6), not every believer knows that it is their responsibility to work out what God is working into them (Philippians 2:12). Every believer is required to participate in the process of their perfection. When spiritual growth is neglected, one's spiritual life is affected (2 Corinthians 9:6). We cannot force spiritual growth, but we can facilitate it by making our hearts, heads and habitations fertile. God is growing something great and He has given us tools to aide in this process.
