This book is written for anyone who would like some understanding about how the Self might get lost in childhood, and how unconscious adverse childhood conditioning works in every day life. This can open the way to developing self-awareness which in turn, can be a path to healing the fractured relationship with the Self. This process generates more confidence, self-esteem and better, more secure relationships with others, and with the world. It is not a quick fix, but rather a long and sometimes difficult journey. Looking into the Self in order to integrate both light and shadow requires perseverance and trust, but is enormously worth the effort for those looking for transformation. Drawn to horses from childhood, the Author has experienced profound acceptance andgenerosity in their wonderfully enlightened and humorous presence. Living abroad for much of her time, she has appreciated many different approaches to life and aspires to an open and eclectic attitude, hoping always to find universal truths from higher perspectives.
